The product description says stainless steel, however the finish on the two tongs I bought had lots of rough little black marks all over. The finger/thumb holds are too close together because of the way they're angled, so it's a bit awkward to open the tongs with the one hand (even for me and I have small fingers lol!). This Chinese made table has to be the worst fold up table I have ever seen, the leg fell off right out the box! So a-azon sent me a replacement and it had the same problem, feels very really cheap plastic not like a Lifetime table, if the leg hadn't broke this table would not hold up to a buffet style meal that's how cheap it is...I have no idea home a-azon sells such garbage, shame on them!
