I'm using this by my kitchen sink as a big coaster and it's a wonderful pop of color against my dark granite. I put my bottle of dish liquid and liquid hand soap on it and it prevents the pooling of water on my counter. I got so tired of the puddle of water sitting there on the granite. It's a very pretty piece of art that serves its purpose well. Great purchase!
