I've had this unit for over a year now and haven't used it a great deal but enough in supplimental cooking to get a pretty good feel for it. I originally bought it as the recomended induction unit by Cook's Illustrated to get a feel for cooking with that kind of heat because it seemed like such an effective use of technology.
