was looking to find something to lift hot inner pot from pressure cooker (I cook rice in a inner pot). i do have something that works like pliers that I got from India but trying to find a slim straight type and i ordered this one. very thin material and on top of it, it slipped off of the 'empty' correlle bowl i tried this on. I didn't even bother to try on the hot pot or a bowl from microwave after that since it can't hold/lift an empty bowl. just went to my junk drawer
