I purchased this as a gift for a friend. I was worried about whether it would work correctly, especially seeing as the cup is solid black when it is not filled with a hot beverage. However, as soon as my friend opened it, he filled it with coffee and the picture appeared just as pretty as you please. Great color detail too. Turned out to be a really great gift for someone who is really into guitars.
