Customer Review:

Heated it slowly on a woodstove to about 250 degrees, then put it on the gas stove with a medium flame--cracked within a minute. Don't believe those pix on the website showing flames! Waste of money.

I got my product via mail . I told them there was a fracture in the stone . I haven't even used the product yet.
The company said that was ok.( I don't believe so). When I investigated further soapstones are said to have asbestose in them depending on the quary they are...
