I just picked this up last night from a very popular membership warehouse for <50 bucks. As soon as I got it home, I unpacked it and plugged it in. I filled my graduated stainless Pyrex pot up to the 2 qt line with cold tap water. I covered the pot with its glass lid and turned the hot plate on.
