Overall, the product works very well, but it does take a few minutes longer to boil larger (3-4 quart) kettles of water, than a burner on an actual full-sized stove. The unit is easy to clean, easy to use, seems durable enough, looks okay, and does the job well enough. I was surprised that it doesn't heat the surface it operates on much, so that is a big plus in my opinion.

I loved this hot plate when I first got it. Though it took some getting use to how slow it heated up...
