I purchased this candle warmer to melt a lotion candle, but have since also used it to melt a normal wax candle. It works great! I've had it running continuously for several weeks. It keeps the room pleasantly scented without any of the risks of flame. Plus, the wax doesn't burn, so I think the candle will last much longer. I'm thinking of putting some of my other burned-down candles on the warmer to even them out. I know some reviewers didn't like that it took a long time to complet...
