Induction is faster cooking with more control over your cooking temperature. Plus you save energy. I've bought alot of cadco products and this one seems as well built as all their cooking equipment.

The fun test is to boil a cup or two of water on it and your regular stove top. And test the different times. The induction boils water in about 3 minutes versus regular cook stove tops that boil water in over 7 minutes.
