Just replaced our cheapo Proctor Silex that we bought in 2011 with this FANTASTIC COFFEE MAKER. ( The top had started to pop open on our old Proctor Silex model while brewing and we had to put a cup on it. Plus it was evaporating the water and we would get 10 cups of coffee when we put 12 cups of water in it).
