This china looks terrific. It's clean and elegant looking. The pieces are heavy and have a solid feel to them. The pieces are all dishwasher safe (although Mikasa cautions against it because of the platinum bands). And, for the a_azon price of $30 per placesetting, it's a terrific way to start a moderately priced set of china. The china easily looks like it would be two or three times the cost.
