I bought this lifter together with . I couldn't see the difference between the two from the pictures and neither were very expensive. I'm glad I did. This is clearly an inferior design compared to Helen Chen's. The part of this lifter that grips the dish is at a 45 degree angle, which allows the grippers to slip off the plate too easily. Helen Chen's lifter has a 90 degree angle and doesn't slip at all.
