I want to like this hot plate in the worst way… but just can't! For the price this item should be of a high quality. It is not. It takes forever for it to warm one burner up to cooking temperature on a dedicated 30 amp line. I am afraid to try both burners! Construction is adequate. Packaging is adequate. On balance this thing is a big waste of money. If an item doesn't do what it is intended to do it is useless.
