This hot plate arrived with a warped base. It wouldn't sit flat on a counter, and rocked back and forth badly, a potentially hazardous condition. It appears to be of low quality construction, which may explain the warped base. Skip this one.
Unlike most cooking plates, this little guy has the power of a standard cooktop! Very impressed, the price is right and it's extremely good quality.
