The metal clip tong isn't what I expected. The build is worst than what I used to have and seems very cheap quality. It doesn't close properly. I feel very insecure to use this tong. I am afraid it can't hold the hot plate securely. I need to use a towel or hot pad on the bottom of my plate to secure it. I wouldn't recommend to get this one.
